Faculty

The Division Director of Industry and Manufacturing Programs is a faculty member with a reduced teaching load (40% or two-course per semester requirement) that reports to the Associate Dean of Technical Programs. The Division Director of Industry and Manufacturing Programs provides support for personnel, programs, and services, in the Industry and Manufacturing division, specifically in the following programs:· Automotive Technology· Electromechanical Technology· HVAC Technology· Instrumentation· Maritime· Process Technology· Safety, Health, and Environment· WeldingDuties and responsibilities of the Division Director shall include, but not be limited to:· Maintain a 40% teaching load during the fall and spring semesters in accordance with the conditions of the faculty contract and faculty handbook· Work two weeks before fall classes begin and two weeks after spring classes end ($4,000 stipend)· Lead and/or facilitate administrative responsibilities within the division related to:o Accreditationo Budget planning and oversighto Curriculum and Assessmento Faculty Evaluation and Supporto Program/College Outreacho Schedule of Classeso Student Success

EducationCommensurate with faculty credential requirements for one or more programs within the division.ExperienceCommensurate with faculty credential requirements for one or more programs within the division. Experience with accreditation requirements and expectations required of program-specific accreditations within the division.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to simultaneously manage multiple projects, priorities, budgets, and personalities; maintain a high profile in community activities.
