This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Electricians will do electrical installation work, both construction and remodeling in accordance with electrical codes and are responsible for cleaning work area after work is performed.
• Provide a written record of work and materials used by job completion.
• May be subject to work overtime when required.
• May be subject to call back on weekends and holidays.
• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment throughout plant.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance, change out, and set up of equipment for operation.
• Assist with electrical and mechanical repairs as necessary.
• Repair or replace components as necessary.
• Modify existing equipment that is no longer efficient or compatible with current production needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years' experience in electro-mechanical or related field of maintenance.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including some weekends and on call shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to collaborate with all levels in all depts.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of electrical systems.
• Two (2) years Industrial electrical work experience. OR
• Two (2) year associate degree in related field and one (1) year work experience in field.
