RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an End User IT Support Technician in Roswell, GA.Summary:The Technician will work on-site with End User Services Team (aka - PC Support/Repair team). The Technician will support End Users in a Remote and Onsite support model. The IT live employe service center is a room where people can walk up and get IT support. The goal to get this person to handle most or all of that work. They will be handling lots of IT tickets, opening and closing tickets, assigning tickets, and setting up appointments for people to come to the IT live room. Troubleshooting laptops. They will mostly be working with PC and some MAC, and they want someone who can handle both. The End User IT Support Tech will be working with hardware troubleshooting, and swapping parts out of different machines.Responsibilities will include:
  • Build/Image Notebooks/Desktops (with specific work instruction)
  • Hardware Inventory Management (receive hardware, count stock)
  • Prepping equipment for deployment or retirement (Formatting Hard drives, sorting stock, testing of older equipment)
  • Deployment of New End User Hardware (laptops, desktop, accessories)
  • OS Supported: Windows, Linux, MacBook (iOS)
  • Troubleshoot Hardware and Operating System Issues
  • Work from a Ticket Based System
  • OS Supported: Windows, Linux, MacBook (iOS)
Technician needs to:
  • Interact with End Users in a professional and courteous manner
  • Adapt quickly to change in workload priorities


REQUIREMENTS:

  • No degree required; Experience is more important
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Windows/Mac OS and hardware troubleshooting
  • Service desk ticket management
  • Customer Service experience
  • Someone who is technical and hands on
  • Looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, determined


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
