Your role:

• Will provide Engineering Technical support for the Consumables Manufacturing Areas as a member of the Consumables Manufacturing Engineering Team.

• Utilize strong troubleshooting and electro-mechanical skills to develop and implement operational solutions in a regulated environment.

• systems, including Production Equipment Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
• Support Production Equipment including Robotics, Vision Systems, Barcode Readers, sensors and motion control.
• Will support project activities and work effectively with many other functions, employing excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Your expertise:

• This position requires a 2 year associate's degree in a technical area with a minimum of 5 years experience in a related industry.
• The position will require good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment while balancing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PPT) is required.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD design software (Solidworks or NX), general mechanical shop tools/equipment, mechanical assemblies, and detailed part drawings is important.
• Mechanical support experience related to hands on equipment assembly/installation, troubleshooting/repair of complex electro-mechanical systems and validation is desirable.

• You have experience with Industrial Process Control Systems design and documentation using tools such as AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel.

• You have experience supporting software within Programmable Logic Controllers (Siemens and Rockwell) and electro-mechanical equipment such as motors, photo-electric sensors, process instrumentation, vision systems (Keyence and/or Cognex), robotics (FANUC) and pneumatics.

• You have a working knowledge and application experience with Lean business systems and methodologies such as TPM, 5S, Lean 3P Design, & OEE Monitoring.
