Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with more than 40 office locations in the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. All candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will report to the Director of Web Development on the Global Demand team. You will be the primary contact for a portfolio of brands and support their web development needs including building/maintaining WordPress websites, building templates for marketing landing pages and emails, and more for a portfolio of EverCommerce brands. You will work closely with the central EverCommerce marketing, design, and content teams as well as leaders of our verticalized marketing teams to develop compelling web experiences and marketing assets.Additionally, you will:

• Identify user and business requirements for new websites
  
• Own the build of WordPress websites using our WP Engine hosting environments
  
• Migrate WordPress websites across server infrastructure
  
• Own the development of Marketing collateral such as Marketo landing page and email templates
  
• Liaise with designers and content writers to decide on UI/UX elements
  
• Work closely with the marketing team to bring new user interaction and conversion features to existing websites
  
• Support the launch of landing pages and multi-variate tests via VWO
  
• Create and update process documentation
  
• Work with project managers to determine project scope and level of effort
  
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device support
  
• Develop HTML emails for marketing platforms such as Marketo
  
• Identify and fix website bugs and rendering issues across multiple CMSs
  
• Effectively communicate project statuses as well as issues and barriers
  
• Teach and grow junior level developers, provide constructive feedback on peer reviews
  
• Help to improve and streamline our internal processes
  

Requirements:

• 6+ years relevant work experience; supervisory experience a plus
  
• 1+ years in a Senior Development role
  
• Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript or PHP
  
• Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS/SCSS
  
• Superb interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  
• Proficient with GIT version control (BitBucket/GitHub)
  
• Strong understanding of hosting environments and experience troubleshooting back-end website errors
  
• Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma or other design/development applications
  
• Strong leadership skills
  
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 in Colorado and most other areas. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
