Organization
Provide support and assistance to the Director of Recruiting Strategy. Manage the administrative and operational aspects of the on-campus recruitment of prospective student athletes, assist in on-boarding student athletes and plan all prospect related events for the Oklahoma Football program in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Oklahoma Football.Essential Functions:

    Plan and execute official visits and unofficial visits, gameday recruiting programming, junior days and other special events as assigned.Organize and execute all on-campus recruiting visitsAssist with the operations of signee’s initial eligibility with NCAA Eligibility CenterAssist with the operations of signee’s admission process with Compliance, University Admissions, Financial Aid (NIL, Financial Aid Agreement, etc.)Other duties as assigned by the Director of Recruiting Strategy


Job Location
Required Education: A Bachelor’s degree, AND:  
  • 12 months of experience in related field.
Skills:
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, staff, and administrators
  • Ability to work under pressure to manage and coordinate multiple projects and requests and meet competing deadlines
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of collegiate athletic programs and operation units
  • Knowledge of and commitment to comply with NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of recruiting management system
  • Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
Advertised Physical Requirements: 
  • Ability and willingness to work long and odd hours, often weekends and potentially holidays during variety of events and camps/clinics
  • Must be able to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel

  • Highly organized and detailed oriented
  • Previous experience in football or athletic recruiting or related experience
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
  • Comply with all University, conference, and NCAA rules
