Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Front-End Developer with experience in developing front end code to be integrated into Sitecore by our back-end developers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly, visually appealing, and responsive websites and web applications that play a crucial role in the delivery of healthcare services, research, and education.

1. Front-End Development:
   • Utilize Sitecore CMS to develop and maintain the front-end of our websites and web applications.
   • Collaborate with UX/UI designers using tools like Figma to implement visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
   • Ensure responsive design for optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
2. Sitecore Integration:
   • Collaborate with the back-end development team for seamless integration with data sources and backend systems.
3. Optimization:
   • Implement best practices for web performance, including optimizing page load times and minimizing HTTP requests.
4. Cross-Browser Compatibility:
   • Ensure that websites and web applications function correctly across different browsers and resolve compatibility issues.
5. Security:
   • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive healthcare data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
6. Documentation:
   • Document code, processes, and configurations to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.
7. Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and back-end developers, to deliver cohesive digital solutions.
8. Stay Current:
   • Keep up to date with emerging front-end development trends, tools, and technologies, and propose their adoption as relevant.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio of web projects developed using Sitecore.
• Proficiency in website development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their respective frameworks. Experience with the language's latest features highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Experience with Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator design tools.
• Experience with Git and GitLab.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
