Position Summary:

The ECACE/REV Up EV grant manager works in collaboration with the Dean of Career and Technical Education to manage the ECACE/REV UP EV grants. Duties include collaborating with Marketing, Career Services, Advisors, Recruiters, and Faculty. Coordinates all functions related to the grant deliverables. The position will be responsible for grant budgets, grant reports, and other duties related to the ECACE/REV Up EV grants as needed. Ensures compliance with the Illinois Community College Board grant requirements. May supervise other positions applicable to the grants

Reporting and Supervisory Relationships:

This position reports directly to the Dean of Career and Technical Education.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborates with multiple internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  2. Oversees daily operations of the ECACE/REV Up EV grants.
  3. Coordinates with the Dean to prepare the annual grant proposals, determining grant objectives, outcomes and expenditures.
  4. Develops and implements strategies to meet the ECACE/REV Up EV state objectives.
  5. Prepares all reports, documents, and budgets as required by the grants in collaboration with the Dean of Career and Technical Education.
  6. Coordinates data collection and reporting, programmatic, and budgetary oversite as required by the grants.
  7. Ensures that all programs, activities and expenditures follow the ECACE/REV Up EV grants objectives.
  8. Supports selection and eligibility requirements for suitable candidates.
  9. Participates in ongoing professional development related to the ECACE/REV Up EV grants.
  10. Attends all local, regional, and state meetings related to the ECACE/REV Up EV grants.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Employee is subject to indoor work, and protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. Two (2) years of grant experience.
  3. Two (2) years of program management experience.
  4. Evidence of experience working in collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  2. Experience working at a community college.
  3. Experience working in CTE field.
  4. ICCB formula grant experience.
  5. Supervisory experience.
Anticipated Work Hours and Days:

Mon. - Fri. 8am-4:30pm Occasional weekend and evening hours.

Salary:

Minimum starting salary $55,139. Salary commensurate with experience
