HEALTHCARE INSURANCE COLLECTOR: DETAILS
Title: Healthcare Collector
Location: Brentwood TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $20-21/hr
Type: Contract opportunity (through September)
Hours: (flexible schedule!) 6am-2:30 pm | 7am-4pm | 8am-5pm | Monday - Friday

REQUIREMENTS: HEALTHCARE INSURANCE COLLECTOR
* 1+ years of healthcare insurance collections experience. Working in insurance / commercial claims collections
* Proficient in Excel
* Ability to utilize Microsoft Office efficiently, including Outlook (email and calendar), and Excel is a must

RESPONSIBILITIES: HEALTHCARE INSURANCE COLLECTOR
* Collections for multiple clients
* Ability to read an insurance contract and monitor claims accordingly
* Track trending issues
* Work with multiple systems daily
* Review EOB's to identify payment errors, denials and low reimbursement
* Identify and correct claim errors in a clearing house
* Make phone calls to insurance companies for claim follow up
* Research account receivables for both Medicare and Non-Medicare collections
