Ledgent Technology is seeking a Help Desk Manager on behalf of our client in the healthcare industry. Job Description:
We are looking for a Help Desk Manager to oversee our IT help desk team. This role involves managing all operations within a Zendesk environment to ensure efficient and uninterrupted tech support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals, optimizing help desk processes, and ensuring high levels of customer service and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the help desk team to provide excellent technical support and customer service.
  • Oversee the performance of incident and service request management, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Implement and maintain Zendesk systems to optimize workflow and ticket management.
  • Develop strategies to enhance team performance and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on help desk performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other IT and operational leaders to align help desk activities with broader organizational goals.
  • Train and mentor help desk technicians and support staff.
  • Manage contractor relationships and oversee the contract-to-hire process for help desk staff.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Manager or similar IT customer support role.
  • Strong familiarity with Zendesk or similar help desk support software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact with all levels of users and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
