Ultimate Staffing is seeking an HR Assistant for our client in Fremont, CA. This is a temp to perm position, 100% onsite with a starting pay of $27 an hour.

Essential duties and Responsibilities

Our small but mighty HR team is looking for a team player who is ready to help us get our physical paper personnel and immigration files organized, as well as assist us on our I-9 audit.
Duties to accomplish these projects include but are not limited to:

* Upload digital files and data.
* Organizes and archives paper records and documents.
* retrieves data and files upon request from authorized departments and personnel.
* Checks paperwork, digital forms and files, updating or correcting documentation as needed.
* Create new files and provides needed information on forms and reports.
* Secures and protects the privacy of documents.
* Scans paper documents and verifies that scanned documents are clear and legible.
* Perform data entry.
* Checks and corrects documentation and placement of previously filed documents.
* Assist in employee activities.

Requirements:

* High school diploma minimum, AA or BA degree preferred,
* Ability to work on site.
* Attention to detail.
* Well organized.
* Ability to lift/move filing box storage up to 15 lbs.
* Interested in HR career.
