Summary
Administers policies and provides assistance in all phases of Human Resources directives, projects and areas of responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
Maintains knowledge of current legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Recruits, interviews and administers applicable testing. Participates in the final selection of candidates to fill vacant positions.
Plans and conducts New Employee Orientation to foster employee success and promote the Company's goals and objectives.
Responsible for maintaining records of benefits plans participation, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, separations, and employee statistics for required government reporting.
Delivers training to management and employees as required.
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
Responds to management and employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Maintains the internal Human Resources database to ensure all employee data is current and accurate.
Investigates work-related accidents and prepares reports for management and insurance carrier.
Attends job fairs and career events, representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
Responsible for the maintenance of all online job boards as well as the Company's Corporate Talent Network page.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications
Previous experience in a Human Resources role required.
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software; Microsoft Word Processing software; Microsoft Access Database software and Human Resource systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
PHR or SPHR certificate preferred.
