Summary:

Manages the daily operations of multiple departments within Imaging to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Develops and monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.Responds to patient grievances and incident reports to identify opportunities for improvement of processes and patient care within Imaging Services.Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.

Accredited Program: Imaging (Required)American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), ARRT_American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

Additional Job Information:

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of imaging management experience. Other Information: **One of the following: ARRT, RDMS or RDCS or RVT or RVS or NMTCB.Additional Education Info: Accredited Program in Imaging. Bachelors Degree in Management or related field
