Job Description

The IT Auditor for Classified Systems Compliance will be responsible for overseeing Ingalls' IT Operations Compliance and Audit activities as they relate to IT Operations, ensuring that all IT Operations systems and process adhere to regulatory standards and industries best practices, specifically classified environments and vulnerability management. This role involves conducting regular internal audits prior to official audits, identifying compliance risk and working closely with the IT Compliance team to collaborate and standardize compliance processes.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

• Ensure compliance to all IT processes and controls and identifies opportunities for more efficient and effective processes

• Conduct regular IT compliance audits and risk assessments as applicable to IT Operations, reporting findings and working with process owners to resolve issues.

• Manage and enforce SOX controls, Internal processes and procedures, and additional government regulations

• Proactively lead applicable IT Operations teams through audit exercises and deficiency remediation.

• Communicate governance, risk, and compliance objectives to IT

• Develop effective working relationships with cross functional technology groups to keep alignment on strategies

Drive remediation or threat mitigation; lead and manage the monitoring for vulnerabilities in coordination with enterprise and contracted resources, develop a continuous feedback loop between tower leads, IT Operations, and cybersecurity

Promote standardization across multiple towers for vulnerability management and reporting.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in relevant field

5 years equivalent experience

CISSP certification

or

Bachelors degree

7 years equivalent experience

CISSP certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Government regulations that include, but are not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Personally Identifiable Identification (PII/PPI), DFAR, NIST.

Experience with vulnerability management.

Experience with external and executive level presentations.

Experience in project management.

Professional certification in IT Compliance or Governance.
