RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for an Intermediate Data Engineer to work alongside and partner with the Big Data and Data Warehouse team in Altamonte Springs, FL.Summary:The Intermediate Data Engineer will fine tune SQL queries by reviving indexes, performing incremental loads, etc. In this role, you will also be comparing, analyzing, and developing statical analytics solutions and problems within different platforms (Python, R, etc.), and BI Platforms too (Qlik, Power BI, etc.).REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Big Data (Impala, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.)
- Experience with BI tools
- Experience with Cloud based computing and integration (Azure, Data Factory)
- Experience with Excel
- Knowledge in ETL tools (specifically Alteryx)
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
- Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
