Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain and make improvements to facilities on campus. Maintaining good state of repair of campus facilities, qualify of work performed, proper care and maintenance of assigned tools and supplies.
Minimum Education Requirements:- High School graduate or equivalent
- Two years combined experience including general mechanical maintenance, and general knowledge of the following skill trades: Plumbing, electrical, and building trades. Vocational training may be exchanged for a portion of experience at a rate of one-half times per year.
- Ability to follow written and verbal communication, work independently, good communication skills, ability to plan and make decisions. Thorough knowledge of safe working procedures.
- Performs general maintenance functions.
- Basic knowledge and mathematical and reading skills through vocational school, apprenticeship program, or on-the-job training.
- Must possess a valid driver license and meet the requirements to operate a University vehicle.

Hourly Rate:$13.80 (Additional pay dependent upon qualifications)
Work Hours:- Eight hours a day, five days a week; occasional overtime.
- This position will be required to work to provided critical services during University holidays, closures, and other emergencies, as needed. Critical services refer to the units that ensure the continuation of key operations and services that directly relate to the security, safety, and/or physical operation of the University (including services to students). Critical services employees will be required to report to work unless their supervises advise otherwise.
- Must be able to 75 pounds, ability to climb ladders, work in extreme temperatures.
