Position: Manager II, Creative

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066

Duties: Assist in the creation of diverse designs and animations based on design briefs provided by Art Directors. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and timelines to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all assets. Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the creative process, including marketing, sales, product, and creative teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Design and Marketing teams to produce projects. Work closely with designers, producers, and copywriters. Understand company goals and offer various solutions based on project objectives from cross-functional teams. Deliver final assets within an approved timeframe and execute all production needs within the allocated budget. Develop pitch materials such as sketches, storyboards, references, mood boards, and comps to present design direction. Create sophisticated graphics and animations using 2D and 3D images, technical modeling tools, and various styles and mediums to visually communicate ideas. Create dynamic video elements and typography and combine them with messaging provided by stakeholders to highlight content in the form of consumable brand video assets. Participate in and independently deliver all aspects of visual effects design, including focused tasks and entire design concepts. Craft and edit animated pieces that strongly communicate product goals and concepts. Contribute to the creative direction of Walmart's marketing strategy. Possess expertise in multiple channels, including TV, streaming platforms, and social media, and create videos accordingly. Demonstrate expertise in creative tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, and other associated tools. Execute multiple creative concepts and design solutions under guidance to translate business needs into creative solutions. Ensure projects are delivered with both Walmart and partner brands in mind. Research popular trends on social media platforms, obtain popular elements from resource sites, and deconstruct reference campaigns to apply to new designs. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, Visual Communication Design, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, Visual Communication Design, or related field and 2 years of experience in interactive design, editorial content management, or related field.

Skills required: Experience with image search and editing, including utilizing image libraries and Photoshop for image processing, color correction, and digital media and print design. Experience creating vector graphics, editing paths and shapes, adding text and images, designing graphics using Illustrator, and providing editable design elements for After Effects. Experience designing storyboards using Adobe Fresco and Photoshop and delivering comprehensive storyboard designs based on stakeholder requirements. Experience using Figma's collaboration features to share designs and create dynamic interactive prototypes. Experience providing dynamic design concepts by incorporating marketing data into motion video content development and leveraging user experience data garnered from A/B testing. Experience developing marketing strategies to enhance user experience and marketing objectives based on insights gained from data analysis. Experience with 2D and 3D animation. Experience using Adobe After Effects, Blender, and Cinema 4D for modeling, lighting, texture camera movement, and rendering projects from conceptualization to execution. Experience handling motion curves and dynamic visual rhythm. Experience with project management using the Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence), AEM, OneDrive, and Workfront. Experience designing presentation templates and reports using Figma, Keynotes, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience providing dynamic advertising solutions using Adobe Creative design software and online video editing software. Experience with video editing using Premiere and audio editing using Audition. Experience with multi-platform video playback specifications. Experience exporting and compressing multiple video formats using After Effects and Premiere. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $113,797/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
