What you'll do...
The team you'll get to join:
On the Driver Experience team, we're focused on creating an intuitive gig-driver experience that just works. One that is built through the lens of agent success which fosters trust and transparency, nurtures driver retention, and enables a differentiated support experience - empowering us to become a low-cost delivery partner and platform of choice for gig-drivers everywhere.
The Driver experience team views optimizable contact rate as a defect and is focused on reduction of contact rate as our primary OKR. We do so by holistically analyzing the experience across every phase of the driver journey and collaborating with product and engineering to enhance existing platform experiences, reduce high-friction pain points, and eliminating working as designed defects.
In a lot of ways, we function like a startup, meaning you'll leverage cross functional leadership, a collaborative mindset (understanding the impact your suggestions have on other teams' goals and OKRs), and a full range of product thinking and customer experience/operational strategist skills across all organizations.
Where you'll help:
As a Motion Designer on the Driver Experience Creative Content team, you'll have the opportunity to bring our initiatives to life through the creation of engaging animated videos supporting the Spark Driver app. You'll work directly with our Sr. Motion Designer and Producer to develop animated videos from conception to completion and help execute the team strategy of developing content leveraging 3D animation.
You'll also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop gifs as part of informational campaigns and product feature launches supporting a variety of initiatives related to Spark Driver. You will also leverage your project management skills to ensure all motion design files are accessible and organized within our content library, while also embracing a continuous improvement mindset when approaching the work by recommending new tools and strategies to implement.
You'll sweep us off our feet if:
- You are proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D software.
- You have a strong understanding of animation principles, graphic design/illustration, VFX, and video editing.
- You can craft storyboards, create visually engaging communications, and design compelling social/marketing campaigns.
- You excel in storytelling and design that consider user experience, cultural sensitivity, consistent branding, and sustainability principles
- You have flexibility and adaptability and can adapt to changing circumstances and shifting priorities, given the fast-paced nature of our work and industry
- You possess creativity, innovation, and the ability to think outside the box, developing new and innovative solutions to leverage design principles. This includes staying informed about the latest developments in motion design practices and trends.
- You have experience partnering cross-functionally, from kick-off to final delivery.
- You have 3+ years as a motion designer (either working for in-house creative teams or agencies)
- You have 2+ years leveraging project and content management methodologies and tools
