Job Summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking an energetic, experienced marketing manager to lead one of its largest product portfolio brands, Belgard. As the number one hardscapes brand in North America, the Belgard marketing manager will play a crucial role in shaping and managing the brand strategy for the portfolio of hardscape products. This position is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of marketing to drive awareness, market share growth, and demand gains at the national and regional level. This manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, IT, digital and marketing, to ensure the successful positioning and promotion of our hardscape products with both professionals and homeowners alike.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals by segment.
  • Define brand positioning, target audience, and messaging that differentiates our hardscape products in the market.
  • Use 1st and 3rd party research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for brand growth.

Portfolio Management

  • Manage and maintain the hardscape product portfolio marketing, including product launches, updates, and discontinuations in digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with the product development and sales teams to ensure that product offerings are being marketed in a way that meets market demands and are in line with the brand strategy.

Omni-channel Campaigns and Communication

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional marketing channels, to promote hardscape products.
  • Create compelling and consistent messaging, content, and internal/external communication plans to engage with the target audience through personalization and enhanced brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed.

Performance Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, sales data, and market feedback to measure the effectiveness of branding efforts.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the Sr. Brand Manager on brand performance and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the brand marketing budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet goals.
  • Manage the invoice submission, budget tracking and reporting processes.

Internal Partner Collaboration

  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal partners across channels and brands to support and elevate key initiatives.

A Day In The Life

  • Have a strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals, including consumer behaviors, key communication drivers and digital marketing tactics.
  • Build and execute turnkey marketing programs for priority channels to grow the B2C and B2B segment and optimize the digital marketing funnel.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Work with the product management team and marketing operations to support the product launch process to ensure channel deliverables for 100% on-time introductions.
  • Monitor and report regularly on competitive promotional activity within all channels to affect developing or currently running programs.
  • Manage external agencies that support channel marketing activities, including contract renewals, execution of work, establishing annual/quarterly/monthly direction and goals, regular performance reviews and managing all agency-related budgets and billing.
  • Monthly and Quarterly business tracking & internal communication to drive brand visibility and needs for both short-term & long-term sales opportunities/pipeline/development with channel partners.
  • Oversee the concept and design of best-in-class collateral materials for sales solutions.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy that communicates the brand story and differentiates our hardscape products and services in the market. Manage the content and social teams' application and execution of the strategy and coordination with external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the Belgard websites and digital experiences for the professional and homeowner audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in branding and marketing, preferably in the manufacturing industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of hardscape products, their market, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate on multiple projects - with multiple stakeholders both above and below you - simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Creative thinking and a strategic mindset to drive brand innovation.
  • Travel up to 15%.
