Basic Job Functions:
The material handler must be comfortable operating a Forklift in a fast-paced production environment. They must be able to communicate effectively with the team to accomplish all production and shipping goals. This individual will be responsible for daily preventative maintenance of the forklift they are using. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift operation experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.
- Experience driving a combi-lift
