A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking a non-exempt Clinic Education Coordinator at the St. Louis Dental Center. The position reports to the Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs. The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for various tasks including exam construction and facilitation, project coordination, and
general administrative, secretarial, and clerical support. They handle and process confidential information in a professional manner. As such, they provide general office support that contributes to the accomplishment of the goals of MOSDOH.

Major Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage course syllabi as needed
  • Coordinate the exam process for MOSDOH students including exam input/construction, facilitation, and student review sessions
  • Manage the electronic testing software
  • Assist in the remediation process of students and schedule examination retakes
  • Assist in the maintenance of teaching schedules of clinical faculty, class schedules for students, and classroom schedules etc.
  • Provide administrative support in the areas of interprofessional activities, community outreach activities, and research
  • Collaborate with other MOSDOH adlninistration/staff to complete projects as assigned
  • Manage, develop, and run reports for assessments including but not limited to course evaluation and comse instructor surveys in conjunction with the Assistant Director, Education and Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs

Job Responsibilities
  • Testing Responsibilities
    • Input assessments into electronic testing system for MOSDOH students
    • Provide instructional design for D3-D4 courses including the set-up and maintenance of the learning management system
    • Work with instructors and course directors to obtain materials for all D3 & D4 courses and D1 & D2 courses if needed
    • Manage and coordinate the Google calendar (D3 & D4)
    • Update standard curriculum docmnents as needed (syllabus template, policies, etc.)
    • Input and track course grades D3 & D4
    • Monitor and manage dental course development
    • Oversee electronic class schedules for D3 & D4 courses
    • Prepare final grades for D3 & D4 courses and submit for review and final approval
    • Assist Office of Academic Affairs in course evaluation scheduling as needed
    • Develop end of course summary reports for all D3 & D4 courses as needed
    • Work with faculty members to properly tag exam questions by category for statistical tracking
    • Schedule and proctor make-up/remediation exams as needed
    • Coordinate assessment review sessions for students
    • Coordinate adjunct faculty travel arrangements and travel reimbursements
    • Serve on appropriate committees as assigned
    • Coordinate Board Review Sessions and proctor the Mock Board examination including the portion occuring on Saturday and/or Sunday in conjunction with the Course Director, Biomedical Sciences and Dental Sciences
    • Assist with special events, faculty advance, etc., as requested by the Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs
    • Additional duties as assigned
  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Provide administrative support such as minute taking, scheduling, communication (email, phone, etc.) and follow-up on action items for various committees, as assigned
    • Work with Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs, and Assistant Director, Education to schedule and monitor completion of course evaluations as needed
    • Assist faculty/educational staff on project completion as needed, including CODA-related tasks
    • Additional duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required. Desire Education or Health Administration major.
  • The incumbent is responsible for various tasks requiring advanced coordination skills and the ability to work independently without being told individual steps to complete tasks.

  • Ability to recognize, manage, and protect sensitive/confidential information
  • Employee must be extremely punctual and reliable so as to not delay testing sessions

  • Able to juggle several projects while meeting deadlines with strong prioritization abilities
  • Must represent ATSU in a highly professional manner, both internally and externally

Must be on campus no later than 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. May occasionally require some early hours, weekend, and/or evening work as projects require.
