Summary:
Supervises the daily activities of assigned imaging staff.
Responsibilities:
Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Trains, coaches, and evaluates assigned staff on performance expectations.Develops and implements action plans to meet and exceed performance improvement and safety initiatives.Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.Assists with the preparation of operational and capital budget under the guidance of imaging leadership. Reviews and approves payroll for their direct reports. Orders supplies and maintains appropriate inventory level in accordance with established budgets.Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Coordinates patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Education and Certification Requirements:
Accredited Program: Radiology (Required)ARRT_American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE), BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
Additional Job Information:
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of technologist experience. Other Information: Appropriate Florida State Licensure depending on modality of supervision. Must be registered with the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABRMS) as a Magnetic Resonance Safety officer within 2 years of hire. Registered as a Technologist(ARMRIT) - Advance Registry MRI Technologist.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
