Basic Job Functions:
The Material Handling Process Engineer will be an integral part of the Material Handling team responsible for working with our teammates to create Operational and Commercial Excellence in the production planning
area. This position will be actively involved in the process, and the supporting statistical analysis, to implement and facilitate best practices that drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and productivity for our team and customers. This position will serve as a technical resource to the team in the Material Handling areas, as well as be responsible for developing and leading process specific training to expand the knowledge of our team.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
