SUMMARY

Work at warehousing activities for organization by performing the following duties personally or through the use of subordinate or helpers. The helper will be an occasional worker, therefore the supervisory responsibilities below is left blank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse inventory and equipment.
  • Prepares Materials for work order's and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
  • Ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
  • Salvages damaged or used material and/or its disposal.
  • Check all hand tools weekly, report problems, and replace as needed.
  • Check all issued equipment (including hand and portable power tools), and ensure they are inspected and replaced when needed. Ensure all flammables are returned for proper storage and/or disposal.
  • Ability to safely operate forklift or other equipment utilized in the warehouse area or for parts and/or supply delivery.
  • Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Shift Schedule:

Sunday to Wednesday (6am) to (6pm)

Thursday to Sunday (6am) to (6pm)

Sunday is a plant wide schedule downtime, primarily for housekeeping, scheduled maintenance, and/or assigned work. *** Plus Depending on work assigned by management.
