Overview
The Physical Therapy Assistant W.E.S.T Float is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Physical Therapy Assistants are given the opportunity for flexible self-scheduling while working in an assigned region of 3 facilities.
We currently have
Full-TimeDay shift positions available in all regions.
Apply to this position to be considered for Full-Time Float Team opportunities throughout Wellstar! We have 11 hospitals and our Float Team is required to float to specific regions listed below. Region 1 North:Kennestone, Windy Hill, and North Fulton Hospitals
Region 2Central:Cobb, Paulding, and Douglas Hospitals
Region 3 South: Spalding, Sylvan Grove, and West Georgia Hospitals

Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Georgia.Must have a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association on first day of employment. A valid Georgia Driver's license is required and private vehicle insurance.
Required Minimum Experience for this position:2 years of clinical experience in an Acute Care facility is required.
