Plant Manager - $3 Billion Manufacturing Company - Siloam Springs, AR

As Plant Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to achieve and surpass short and long-term business objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing plant P&L, formulating growth strategies, and guiding the team toward success. Foster an inclusive and engaging work environment, demonstrating advocacy, empathy, and accountability.

Compensation: $170k - $210k + 20% bonus (performance / company) + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, 401(k): 3% company contribution, 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays + 8 sick days.

Relocation: $15,000 lump sum for renters, $35,000 for homeowners.

Notes from intake call: 500 - 600 employees on site and 1 million + square feet of facility space. The organization is seeking someone who has led teams of a similar size and has a strong understanding of complex manufacturing operations. Culture change would be welcome - manufacturing excellence / operational excellence. Different kinds of belts and hoses for automotive, agriculture, and other applications are manufactured at this high volume / high revenue site.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement short- and long-term plans aligned with the strategic and profit objectives to enhance operational performance and financial outcomes.

Lead the operational management team and functional staff in areas such as Quality, Finance, Continuous Improvement, EHS, HR, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

Establish objectives and drive Key Performance Indicators for continuous improvement across all balanced scorecard indicators.

Utilize Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools for cost improvement analysis, implementing measurable plans (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+).

Champion a zero-incident safety culture, focusing on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) in the workplace.

Prioritize Quality, early detection, and escalations to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance.

Instill a customer-centric culture, exceeding customer expectations and ensuring prompt responsiveness to customer needs and issues.

Collaborate with Human Resources to drive talent management, learning, communication, and development strategies.
