Brigham and Women's Primary Care - where patient-centric practice meets innovation is seeking passionate Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained Physicians (Board Certified/Board Eligible) to complement our thriving Adult Medicine Primary Care practice. As part of the Brigham and Women's Primary Care Center of Excellence, you'll collaborate with a team of esteemed clinicians and have the opportunity to work alongside world-class specialists from Brigham and Women's Hospital. Our flexible scheduling options fit into your lifestyle, offering both part-time and full-time (8 sessions) schedules per week.

Our Brigham and Women's Primary Physician practice at Faulkner (BPP) was established in 1997 on the Brigham main campus and moved to Faulkner Hospital in 2002 and serves a diverse patient population from Boston and the nearby suburbs. We offer compassionate team-based care provided by physicians, physician assistants, care coordination nurses, staff nurses, clinical social workers, community resources workers, a population health coordinator, and a pharmacy technician. We appreciate being embedded in the Faulkner Hospital where there are specialists, hospital lab, radiology, special testing, and the opportunity to get to know the specialty teams that we work with. There is an opportunity to precept Harvard Medical Students in the office or during their inpatient rotations. We consider our entire team a work family that takes care of patients as we would want our family to be cared for.

This role offers more than traditional Primary Care. You'll delve into patient-focused practice while embracing a team and value-based population health management approach. Our team of dedicated Primary Care Physicians emphasizes proactive health screening, comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis for symptoms, and expert management and treatment of conditions. For our patients with complex conditions, we provide care coordination and enhanced communication with multiple specialists who are part of our patients' care teams. We are dedicated to leveraging an innovative clinical model and optimizing its implementation.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).

- Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician.

- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Massachusetts including MCSR and DEA.

- Excellent communication skills and time management.

Appointment at the Harvard Medical School

Depending upon the position, there may be opportunities to teach residents and medical students. All Harvard Medical School Faculty appointments require at least 50 hours of teaching per academic year. Harvard Medical School faculty appointment is not a requirement for this position. Appointment at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
