Principal Workday Analyst

The Role:

The Principal HRIS Analyst plays a lead role in the management and enhancement of Workday, Moderna's Global HR Information System. He/she will lead the Workday tenant management and release efforts. This position requires a highly driven individual with demonstrated success in high growth, fast-paced organizations. The successful candidate shall be seen as a hands-on subject matter expert capable of delivering HR technology solutions required to solve complex business issues.

This role will can be based in Atlanta, Georgia or Cambridge, MA.

Here's What You'll Do:

• Own assigned Workday modules and partner with HR stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess needs, define requirements, evaluate, design, and implement proactive functional modifications and enhancements to Workday.
  
• Lead and manage Workday releases and updates, including researching functionalities, conducting testing, and providing training to end users on enhancements, as applicable.
  
• Serve as the functional expert for Workday reporting. Optimize and evolve scalable reporting solutions. Creates custom reports and dashboards.
  
• Drive continuous improvements through process redesign and configuration optimization to ensure optimal use of Workday
  
• Ensure data integrity in Workday. Develop data quality dashboard. Conduct periodic business process and data audit and implement improvements to maintain data hygiene.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues or serve as organization's liaison to vendor technical support teams for resolution.
  
• Ensure appropriate development and execution of SOX compliance and controls
  

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of hands-on experience in the configuration and support of Workday Core HCM, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, and Benefits
  
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end functional HR business processes
  
• Advanced knowledge of Workday reporting
  
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Attention to detail is a must as well as the ability to work in a dynamic agile result-focused environment, with the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
