One of our clients in Seattle, Washington is looking for a Product Manager with the following skills and experience:

Product Manager - Regulatory Compliance & Privacy (CCPA/GDPR)

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in regulatory compliance and privacy, particularly CCPA/GDPR, ideally from a banking or financial services background. The successful candidate will lead our team in structuring accounts while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with engineers and legal stakeholders, as well as the ability to solve abstract problems and think critically.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of product strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, with a focus on CCPA/GDPR.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Work with legal stakeholders to understand and address legal and compliance requirements, ensuring alignment with product development efforts.
• Build and maintain core systems and platforms, leveraging APIs, services, and backend systems to support front-end functionality.
• Write user stories and create product documentation to communicate requirements and specifications to development teams.
• Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for product enhancements and improvements.
• Drive the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business goals and customer needs.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of product performance, identifying areas for optimization and refinement.

Requirements:

• 5 years of product management experience, including defining strategy and roadmap for large-scale consumer products and technology platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance and privacy, particularly CCPA/GDPR, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and understand complex technical concepts.
• Experience working with legal stakeholders to address regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to solve abstract problems and think critically, with a strong analytical mindset.
• Previous experience building core systems and platforms is preferred, including working with APIs, services, and backend systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proven track record of driving product development initiatives from concept to launch.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience writing user stories is a plus.
