Specific requirements and responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • This is a full time in-office position.
  • 5-10% travel with minimal overnights
Product Portfolio
  • Coordinate quotations for price and delivery associated with new business opportunities between Field Sales, Customers and the Plants.
  • Conduct product training for customers, distributors and new CAPT’s.
  • Participate in the development of catalogs, electronic tools/PT Wizard and other collateral support.
  • In conjunction with their CO engineering counterpart(s), implement reverse engineering. initiatives, document and communicate to field sales and/or the marketplace as appropriate.
  • Understand the PG and IoT digitalization strategy and align product value proposition with the strategy in communication and training.
Business Management
  • Ensure that new business opportunities meet established financial goals.
  • Completely understand product costs and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a database for competitive pricing by industry and region for North America as well as other designated trading areas.
  • Secure and develop cost analysis for modified product opportunities.
  • Manage price deviations within agreed to boundaries.
  • Supply necessary inputs for price changes and price adder documentation.
  • Operate within legal guidelines as set forth in Dodge Industrial business and ethic policies.
  • Ensure that the product businesses conduct business in a manner that is reflective of the Dodge Industrial Value.
  • Load attribute master data into the system
  • Extrapolate data from Saleforce to drive profitable growth for the business
  • Using SAP, Analysis, and Power BI
    • Create reports to research and understand order trends
Customers and Markets
  • Understand the features and benefits associated with Dodge Industrial products as well as the competitive products.
  • Assist Field Sales, Insides Sales, and customers in the selection of Dodge Industrial products.
  • Understand how Dodge Industrial customers make money and how Dodge products can assist customers in attaining their financial goals.
  • Research target industries to gather market requirements for new products or portfolio expansion.
