Responsibilities
- Performs Electro-Mechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope.
- Assembles ultra-miniature assemblies or is fully proficient in a specific product line.
- Operates standard shop equipment including solder iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner and ovens.
- Reworks improperly functioning units.
- Communicates with calibration department to assure accurate assembly and proper functioning of units.
- Performs continuous cross training to increase skills and knowledge.
- Solders miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift.
- Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal supervision.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Electro-Mechanical assembly experience.
- Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
- Advanced schematic reading and ability to trouble shoot assemblies.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Good hand and eye dexterity.
- Good communication skills.
- Certification for J-STD C or IPC-610.
- Must be a local candidate.
Salary Range$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
