Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in production supervision, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing setting. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee 8-10 and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient production processes and timely delivery of products. You will be responsible for managing a team of production workers, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to meet quality and productivity goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments such as logistics and quality control to maintain a smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of production workers to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
* Plan and organize production activities, including staffing, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
* Train new employees on standard operating procedures and safety protocols, and provide ongoing coaching and support to existing staff.
* Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, quality control, and maintenance, to coordinate production activities and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements to drive continuous improvement in production processes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage team members to achieve performance targets.
* Strong knowledge of production principles, process improvement methodologies, and quality management systems.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
* Proficiency in using computerized systems and software applications for production planning, scheduling, and reporting.
