Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in the Northeast region of the United States! With 4-8 years of experience working on municipal infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for the engineering evaluation, design, permitting, and construction administration of water, wastewater, stormwater, and other infrastructure and environmental projects throughout the region.

Location of this role is flexible and can be:

• Pennsylvania (Huntingdon / State College area, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Bloomsburg, North Wales, Exton)
• Massachusetts (Burlington, Hyannis)
• New York (Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Syracuse, Rye/White Plains)
• Connecticut (Hartford)

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Completion of studies, design and construction administration for a variety of unique environmental and civil projects including trenchless pipelines (horizontal directional drills and microtunneling), ocean outlines, combined sewer separations, and water/wastewater treatment plant site design
• Developing technical reports and proposals
• Providing mentorship and development advice to junior level staff
• Collaborate with clients for planning purposes, providing updates and building relationships
• Opportunity to be involved in trenchless design projects supporting our industry experts including HDD, Microtunneling, Pipebursting, CIPP, etc.
• Opportunity to support interesting projects across the northeast that will have lasting community impact

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Systems Engineering
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtaining the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required
• 4-8 years of experience working on municipal infrastructure projects
• Previous consulting experience strongly desired
• Able and willing to travel to client job sites as needed (primarily local with the occasional overnight)

Salary Ranges (based on experience):

• Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Syracuse: $72,000 - $108,000
• Rye/White Plains: $90,000 - $135,000
• Hartford: $79,200 - $118,800
