RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Seattle, WA that is seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Tech. In this role, you will regularly work with Developers, Product Managers, and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, you will identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.Overview:As a Quality Assurance Tech, you will help build the foundation that powers the best shopping experiences for customers wherever and whenever they shop on their mobile app. Our scale is in billions of dollars and hundreds of millions of users globally. We sweat the details and are passionate about building, testing, and releasing scalable, secure, and performant software.Duties:
  • Quality Assurance Tech will be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms including web and mobile
  • Own the planning, development and execution of test plans and test cases
  • Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
  • Help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques
  • Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
  • As a Quality Assurance Tech, you will interpret and report testing results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
  • Work with Software Development Engineers (SDE) to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
  • Write automated tests with Scripting tools and/or user-level automated tools
  • Responsible for developing test cases, driving the test case sign-off processes with the stakeholders, and test execution and reporting


REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 2-4 years industry experience testing software, including website applications
  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java, and SQL is desired, but not required
  • Experience with Selenium highly desired # Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience in automation testing (Cucumber, Android Espresso, WebDriver IO, Appium)
  • Experience in XCUITest in Objective-C
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in React Native, Android and iOS testing
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment
  • Great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites
Preferred:
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
  • Experience with AWS is a plus and AWS Device Farm is a plus
  • Experience with NoSQL is a plus
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
