Job Description Summary

Must be able to WORK & TRAIN on any shift (Day or Night).
Night Shift Differential $1.50

Job Description

• Ensures product quality is monitored and tested in compliance with established procedures, specifications, and instructions.
• Reports quality related problems to the lead lab tech and Q.A. supervisor.
• Analyzes data and trend situations.
• Properly records out-of-grade situations.
• Provides accurate, complete, and timely documentation of test results.
• Communicates with Q.A. leads and production employees to ensure all specifications are controlled.
• Assists the processing and/or packaging departments as needed.
• Performs other functions as directed.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Maintain a good attendance record
• Communicate well in English in both written and oral form
• Safely use chemicals required for testing or cleaning
• Meet sensory demands of tasting, smelling, feeling, and seeing
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using a calculator
• Stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Climb stairs and ladders.
• Work safely and be willing to participate in Lamb Weston safety programs
• Work independently with little or no supervision
• Periodically work overtime as required
• Follow company policies and procedures
