Summary

The Registered Dietician is responsible for providing optimal nutrition care of the bariatric surgery patients across the continuum of care.

Required Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field*Registered dietician in good standing. Licensed to practice dietetics by the LA State Board of Examiners of Diamantistas*Complete 1200 hours of supervised practice through an ACEND accredited internship, pass the national CDR exam, and complete professional continuing education for registration maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

*Master's degree preferred*Clinical knowledge of digestion and nutrient absorption physiology
