A day in the life.

As our Sales Leader on the Sales team, you'll provide coaching and development to our producers to enhance their individual and team performance. You will actively participate in role-playing exercises, conduct ride-alongs, and dive deep into deal strategies to maximize sales volume and profitability. Your responsibilities will include:

Coaching and Development: You will work closely with our producers to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance and support to help them reach their full potential. This will involve conducting regular coaching sessions, setting performance goals, and providing constructive feedback.

Performance Enhancement: Your primary objective will be to enhance the performance of our sales team. You will analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase profitability. This may involve refining sales processes, implementing new sales techniques, or introducing innovative approaches to prospecting and closing deals.

Deal Strategy: You will play a crucial role in deal strategy development. By analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, you will help our team identify the most effective approaches to win deals. This may involve conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging your industry expertise to develop winning strategies.

Sales Volume and Profitability: Your ultimate goal will be to achieve maximum sales volume and profitability. You will work closely with our team to set ambitious sales targets, monitor progress, and implement strategies to meet or exceed these targets. This may involve analyzing sales pipelines, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and implementing effective sales forecasting and planning processes.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, communication, or equivalent degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales/industry experience.
  • Previous experience in Business Insurance/Commercial Lines and/or Employee Health & Benefits and/or B2B professional sales preferred.
  • Strong marketing orientation with the ability to develop strong marketing strategies that meet revenue goals.
  • Ability to build internal/external relationships and develop long-term strategic relationships.
  • Strong leadership dynamics with the ability to share a vision, provide direction, build a strong team, collaborate with others, implement change, and motivate others to succeed.
  • Strong client experience skills with a proved record of successfully developing and implementing business development and client retention programs.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
