Job Description Summary

Responsible for plant cleanliness and food safety.
Ensures Processing/Packaging equipment & surrounding areas are kept in a clean, sanitary & safe condition at all times.

Job Description

• Cleans and sanitizes all areas in a safe, timely and skilled manner to meet Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
• Understands, utilizes, and follows all SSOP's.
• Follow LO/TO procedures at all times.
• Must be able to work in hot or cold environments.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English both in written and oral form.
• Must work safely at all times.
• Must behave in a professional manner at all times.
• Performs other functions as directed by Sanitation Team Lead, Sanitation Specialist, Sanitation Lead or Team Leads.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Maintain a good attendance record
• Communicate well in the English language both in written and oral form
• Work in extreme environments -- wet, cold, dry, steam, etc.
• Work with hazardous, corrosive chemicals
• Work all shifts
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Work safely at all times
• Work independently with little or no supervision.
• Be responsible for following company policies and procedures.
