Job Summary

Reporting to the Security Supervisor, and collaborating with other Security Staff, the Security Officer supports the health system's efforts to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, students, and visitors. The officer assists all individuals in understanding and conveniently utilizing Hospital facilities. The officer provides a first response to emergency situations, and coordinates with external emergency management, law enforcement and fire agencies.

This is Full Time Night Shift Position, hours are 11:00pm-7:30am with weekend and holiday rotation required.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

• Relevant Experience

• Current Valid Driver's License
• BLS Certification will be required within 60 days of hire

• Excellent Communications Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Microsoft Office Applications
• Prepare & Give Presentations
