Senior Accountant

We are seeking a skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our clients dynamic finance team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, preferably with a Big 4 or second-tier firm. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Role pays $35-45/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the general ledger system and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger management.
- Experience working with entertainment companies is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with Big 4 or second-tier accounting firms is a significant plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
