This opportunity is:

Location: Aiea, Hawaii

Status: Full-time

Open to a hybrid: Onsite/Remote

Day/Hours: TBD

Base Salary: 65k to 75k depending on experience (negotiable)

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist in all aspects of the monthly close process, including the preparation of journal entries, cash, account reconciliation, and expense accruals.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting and analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and prepaid for Pacific Division via the fixed asset sub-ledger. This includes posting assets into FAS, running depreciation reports, and posting general ledger journal entries. It also includes preparing monthly and semi-annual roll-forwards.
• Manage the purchasing card program and post the applicable general ledger journal entries (duties include helping divisions obtain new credit cards, logging in, and speaking with other program coordinators to resolve various credit card issues).
• Verifies and processes invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Audit accounts payable batches for accuracy before posting
• Prepare and distribute daily cash reports.
• Processes monthly recurring lease payments.
• Participate in critical finance and accounting projects.
• Assist internal auditors during financial statement audit/review.
• Other duties of a general accounting nature, as assigned.

Education and experience:

• A BBA degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required. Healthcare experience preferred.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, especially with Excel and database applications.
• A high degree of creativity and ability to think strategically.
