Keystone Job Corps is seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated Senior Residential Advisor to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the Residential Advisor team, fostering a positive and empowering atmosphere within the residential community.
    • Serve as a role model, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the success of our students.
  • Program Development:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs that enhance the residential experience and promote personal and academic growth.
    • Collaborate with other departments to integrate residential programs with overall student development initiatives.
  • Crisis Management:
    • Lead and guide the team in responding effectively to student concerns or crises, ensuring a supportive and caring approach.
    • Implement and enforce residential policies and procedures with empathy and understanding.
  • Community Building:
    • Cultivate a strong sense of community within the residential spaces, organizing engaging and inclusive activities that foster positive relationships among students.
    • Encourage student participation in leadership and community-building initiatives.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
    • Collaborate with academic, counseling, and administrative teams to address student needs and concerns holistically.
    • Work closely with external stakeholders, including parents and guardians, to ensure a comprehensive support network.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth. Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements. CDL preferred.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
