RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Technical & SEC Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity with a high growth spin-off company in the Life Sciences space based in Boston, MA. This is a $900M global public traded company reporting into the Director of SEC & Technical Accounting. Responsibilities:- Involved with technical accounting research and updating technical memo's
- Process monthly journal entries and reconciliations
- Ensure GAAP compliance on various complex transactions and technical matters, including revenue recognition, business combinations, internal controls and leases
- Assist with SEC reporting process and drafting sections of 10K and 10Q
- Assist with year-end audit and quarterly review
- Business partner across FP&A teams
- Assist with due diligence on potential acquisitions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- CPA or CPA track (preferred)
- 3-4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience is required (or CPA with solid Technical GAAP/SEC/SOX experience)
- Public company/client GAAP accounting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
