BCforward is looking for Sr. Business Analyst in Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension
Looking for only locals on W2.
Job Description:
- Gather and Analyze Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business needs and gather detailed requirements. This could involve conducting interviews, workshops, or focus groups.
- Requirement Documentation: Document the requirements in a clear, concise manner, typically using user stories and acceptance criteria in an Agile context. Ensure that these documents are accessible and understandable to both business stakeholders and technical team members.
- Act as a Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders (including end-users) and the development team, ensuring a clear understanding of business objectives and how they translate into technical requirements.
- Translate Business Needs: Translate business requirements into technical language for the development team, ensuring that the nuances of financial transaction processing are accurately captured.
- Define Acceptance Criteria: Work with stakeholders and the development team to define clear acceptance criteria for each user story, ensuring that the developed features meet business needs.
- Support Quality Assurance: Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases and participate in testing activities to validate that the features developed meet the acceptance criteria. Liaise with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of financial transactions.
- Understand Technical Frameworks: Have a good understanding of the Java ecosystem, Spring Boot
Required Skills:
- Expert in modeling process flows, data relationship
- flows and event sequencing. Able to understand the logic of code and to
- construct complex data queries.
- Advanced business and data analysis, business process and application knowledge.
