What are you responsible for:
  • Coordinate strategic Performance System initiatives focused on developing 5S Performance Systems within Tyson Logistics(warehousing and transportation)
  • Engage with Logistics Operations and project teams to quantify programmatic Performance Systems and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Lead on-site classroom training sessions to teach Logistic Operations teams the methodologies of 5S and waste reduction
  • Enable project teams to be successful by developing a standard Performance System playbook that could be used by any project manager to deliver consistently great results.
  • Travel is variable for this role depending on what improvements you are making, but typically in the 50% range over the course of a year.

Requirements:

  • Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years experience
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant project management and continuous improvement experience
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills required.
  • Special Skills: Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel, PowerApps, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Supervisory: None
