Job Responsibilities
Pennoni associates is seeking a Field Survey Technician 1 - Rodman with experience consistent, but not limited to:
- Adjust & operate surveying instruments i.e., prisms, total stations, GPS/electronic distance-measuring equipment, auto-levels
- Recording survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, sketches, and data collection files
- Use rods for bench loops and cross-section elevations
- Position targets that operators use for sighting in order to measure angles, distances, and elevations
- Search, stake and recover of sectional and property corners together with other survey monumentation
- Perform manual labor, such as cutting brush to clear lines, carrying stakes, rebar, and other items, and staking survey monumentation
- Perform construction staking activities
