As a TEAP Substance Abuse Counselor at Keystone Job Corps, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, support, and counseling to our students who may be facing challenges related to substance abuse. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team of professionals in a unique and positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address substance abuse issues
• Develop and implement educational programs on substance abuse prevention
• Assess students' needs and create personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with other counselors, educators, and staff to provide comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in substance abuse counseling

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of one year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field required. Valid, active, unrestricted in-state License or Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Prevention required. Regional approval is required.
