UX/UI Designer

Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client, an innovative global e-commerce company, is looking for a talented UX Designer to join their team on a 6+ month contract basis. This remote position is open to candidates within the US.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Craft intuitive and seamless online shopping experiences in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Dive deep into user research to uncover insights and guide design decisions for enhanced user satisfaction.
• Bring design concepts to life through wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Champion user-centered design principles and stay ahead of industry trends to fuel innovation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated expertise as a UX Designer, with a robust portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and user journey mapping.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Previous experience in the e-commerce industry or with global consumer-facing platforms.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping purposes.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and UX design best practices.
